Executive
Committee -
The Executive Committee meets regularly to
discuss and plan the foundation’s strategies and
initiatives, review the annual budget, and make
decisions regarding the foundation’s goals and
general operations.
This five-member decision-making body is selected by the GEF Board of Directors and serves under
the Board’s direction. Each member chairs a specific fund or committee, as follows:
Julie Kuhl – Fundraising & Publicity
Stephanie Hamer – Capital Projects
Jim Frydl –
Scholarship/Professional Development
Tom Evans
– Creative Instructional Grants
Grants/Scholarships Committee – This committee reviews all grant and
scholarship applications and presents awards based
on merit.
Marketing and
PR Committee - The Marketing Committee builds and monitors
the foundation’s strategy as it relates to outreach,
branding, messaging, informing, and reaching our
target audiences.
Fundraising
Committee - The Fundraising Committee plans the corporate
and community components of the GEF fundraising
activities and coordinates efforts throughout the
county.
Needs Assessment Committee
– The Needs Assessment Committee determines the
needs of Greene County schools through various
surveys and other resources.
