Capital Campaign Project Update
The capital campaign for the Raymond C. Dingledine III Performing Arts Center continues. Money raised thus far from the first two GEF "Greene Showcase" is providing many upgrades to the current sound system and other facility upgrades. Donations to the capital campaign fund can be made directly to GEF. Questions regarding the campaign can be directed to Ronda Puryear at RPURYEAR@msc-rents.com.

CI Grant 2011-2012 Timeline:
• 2010-2011 application available September 28, 2011
• Workshop 1 Oct. 21st
• Workshop 2 Nov. 11th
• Review Deadline Date Nov. 30th
• Final Due Date w/all revisions Dec. 9th
• All Proposals Due Dec. 16th
• All Grants Winners Notified January 4th
• Awards distributed Feb. 1, 2012
• All applications must be received by 5:00 p.m. on the date of the final deadline. We cannot accept faxed copies. Questions pertaining to the application can be directed to Kirstine Sigloh at ksiglohva@gmail.com

New Creative Instructional Grant (CIG) Named Scholarships
You can now donate to GEF and have it designated as a named CIG grant. Every year GEF provides Creative Instructional grants to teachers throughout the system.
The CIG grant applications are open to all teachers K-12th grade.
Grant amounts are as designated: $500.00 (K-5th grade) or $1,000 (3rd-12th grade).
CIG applications will be posted by October 1, 2011. New 2011-2012 CIG theme: Opportunities for Leadership and Accountability Through Curriculum. Grants are awarded each school year in January.
