Creative Instructional
Grants
By offering creative instructional grants for Greene
County teachers, teaching teams, and student organizations,
GEF enables educators to design, implement, and disseminate
their own innovative curricular project. Grants will
be awarded annually.
Capital Projects
The foundation will assess the school system’s needs
and, based on input from educators and the community, will
strive to support an annual capital project.
Professional
Development
GEF believes that teachers
need to be supported in their profession. This
fund is being created to support the continuing
education and development of our teachers and
administrators.
Scholarships
GEF offers monetary awards for graduating
seniors attending accredited institutions of higher
learning within the United States. Our desire
is to enhance the educational experience of students
from all levels of academic ability.
Legacy Fund
The
foundation is working with the community to
establish a legacy fund whereby residents and
business owners can invest in our schools through
tax-deductible contributions over time.
